We deliver 64 sessions to over 200 people in their homes or Care homes across Surrey. We have 4 Vans which our staff use daily to get to and from each session. In October 2019 one of these vans was stolen, it was later found stripped of everything and burnt out. Due to our reliance on this van we started a crowdfunder campaign which we hoped we would be able to raise enough to replace it.
Rich volunteered to help us with the marketing of this campaign, his offer of help came at a time when we really needed it, as we did not have to time to concentrate fully on increasing the exposure of what had happened and encouraging people to donate. With Rich’s help we had multiple interviews with local and regional press outlets increasing awareness of what had happened to us, which lead to us not only raising enough to buy a new van but also funds to be able to run it for a year. Without Rich's help this would not have been possible.
